Fundraising Events And Volunteer Opportunities That Stay In Tucson:

 

29th Street C.A.N ..............................................................................................      406-6959

     The 29th Street C.A.N. are volunteers that help seniors aged 60+ and handicapped

     adults who live in the 29th Street Coalition Weed and Seed area. Free neighborly

     services include transportation, yard work, socialization, caregiver relief, and more.

     Volunteers are needed for transportation and errands. Mileage is generously

     reimbursed. Please call Sarah Scopellite, programs coordinator at 406-6959 for more

     information between the hours of 10:00AM and 1:00PM.

 

Humane Society Of Southern Arizona..................................................................    327-6088

    The Humane Society of Southern Arizona shelters companion animals available for adoption;

    provides low-cost spay/neuter surgeries; holds fundraising events; offers educational programs,

      The Tucson Police Department uses citizen volunteers for a wide variety of

       activities from reserve police officers to data entry and clerical assistance.

      TZS is a non-profit membership and fund-raising organization. It provides quality service

      and support to Reid Park Zoo and to the community through education, financial resources,

      and public awareness. The mission of TZS is to enhance the value of Reid Park Zoo to the

      community. Each fall, the TZS hosts the popular ZOOcson Fundraising event.
